Matte cream orange look (Kim Kardasian)

I found this beautiful matte-ish eye makeup that was done on Kim Kardasian, and I had to try it out..

My attempt to dupe the above look:

Items used:
  • Base: MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
  • Lid: MAC Blanc Type
  • Middle of the lid: MAC Rule
  • Outer V and crease: MAC Texture
  • Intensify the crease and outer V: MAC Saddle
  • Highlight: MAC Vanilla pigment
  • Upper lashline - Maybelline Stilleto black liquid eyeliner (this has a felt tip, but its not as "bendy" as the Loreal liquid liner). Very dark, so I love this!
  • Waterline: Any black kohl (I have used MAC Feline)
  • Smudge and set below waterline: MAC Brown Down
  • Mascara: Rimmel Glam Eyes

Summer is here!!

Please excuse my brows, they need to be threaded asap! :-)

Items used:
  • MAC Expensive Pink e/s on the lid (apply atleast 2-3 layers to intensify the color)
  • MAC Coral e/s (pro color) in crease
  • MAC Rule e/s over the Coral (and blend it towards the browbone)
  • MAC Vanilla pigment in inner tear duct and to highlight
  • Any black kohl pencil to line the upper lashline, and set it with MAC Carbon
  • Hashmi kohl on waterline (please note that this contains lead. I am not recommending that you use it as well. This is what I have used:))
  • Smudge out the waterline using MAC Carbon
  • 2 coats of mascara on curled lashes (I used Maybelline Lash Stilleto)
You likey?

And another question: do you think my undereye area in these pics seems lighter?

Sunset eyes

I was inspired by this picture to do a sunset look:

Here is my rendition:

Did you like it? Please click on each image to see a larger view. I try really hard to capture the colors from each angle so that you can recreate it easily.

Items used:
  • MAC Melon pigment was applied all over the eye area, and it was foiled (i.e. applied wet) over the lid
  • Urban Decay Half Baked was placed on the lid in the inner 1/3rd area
  • MAC Goldmine was placed on the lid in the center (next to the half baked eyeshadow)
  • MAC Orange was used in the crease
  • MAC Coppering was placed in the outer 1/3rd area of the crease
  • MAC Parfait Amour eyeshadow was applied very lightly on the browbone
  • MAC Entremauve pigment was applied wet below waterline
  • Waterline was lined with my fav. Indian Kohl (brand VLCC)
  • Bare Escentuals powder liner Black Ruby was applied wet on the upper lid

Did you like this look? Was I successful in creating a sunset look?
