Review: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

Are you lazy like me? lol ..Are you always too tired by the time you come home that even the thought of removing makeup pains you..(like it does me)..

If you answered yes, then I have an easy peesy solution for you - DHC Deep Cleansing Oil.

How do you use this? Take a couple of squirt and massage it on your face. As you gently massage it over your lids, you will notice that even waterproof mascara comes off SUPER easy! Next just wash your face with water. As soon as water comes in contact with the oil, it rinses right off (its like magic:):)

I highly highly recommend this product (specially for folks who have dry skin)! It's a must have for me!

  1. Hi! I like the makeup looks you post.

However...I must comment here - it bugs the heck out of me to see people spending big bucks on what amounts to grocery store extra virgin olive oil because it is marketed by a "skin care" company.

For the last year I have been using Italian extra virgin olive oil with great success as my only skin cleanser, and it was...

$3 for 17 oz. at the discount grocer.

    Otherwise...rock on!

  2. Re: Someone.

Yeah you have a point. Normal olive oil cleanser from the supermarket will do just as good as job for way less £

  3. Both really good points..

But does olive oil dissolve when if comes in contact with water? No :) But the DHC one does.

Also other oils tend to break me out..

to each her own I guess!

  4. I'm not sure if I would want to put olive oil on my face (oh! the breakouts I would get)..but love the idea of having a quick solution to taking my makeup off..Does the DHC cause breakouts? You said your skin was dry..mine is more combination.

Also...Love the site..I have been a lurker for a while, but wanted to comment to say it's such a great blog..I'm a recent makeup junkie.

  5. Hi Rani

DHC does not cause me any breakouts at all. I have been using it for a few weeks now.

I am glad you are finding the blog useful. PLMK if you have any review/eye makeup requests.

  6. I agree. DHC cleansing oil is great. The other oils leave a film and even a creamy cleanser does not remove it completely. Olive oil is a gr8 bet during winter when the skin is parched.

Apparently, shu umera's oil is much better but it is a lot more expensive :(. That will be my purchase when I get a gift card. I am not forking out my own money :P
